Application for New Registration of PAN can be made via the Internet. Further, requests for modifications or revisions in PAN data or proposals for the reprint of PAN card (for an existing PAN card) may also be made via the Internet.
The costs applying for PAN card registration is less than Rs.100 (Banning Goods and Services tax) for Indian transmission address and below 1000 (Excluding Goods and Services tax) for foreign communication address. Fees of application fees can be sent through credit/debit card, demand draft or net banking. After receiving the application fee, the applicant must send the substantiating records through courier/post to NSDL/UTITSL MSME Registration. After receiving the compositions, the PAN application would be processed by NSDL/UTITSL.
For New PAN card applications, in the case of Personal and HUF applicants, if the Address for Contact is selected as Office, then Proof of Office Address and Proof of residential address are to be submitted to NSDL.
As per RBI policies, e-commerce entities must deliver a PIN (Personal Identification Number) while online marketing. Accordingly, before making payment on online PAN/TAN applications using credit card/debit card / net banking, the applicant must accept a PIN from Banks whose credit card/debit card/net banking is being used.
